CONTROLS ENGINEER III - LE

SALARY RANGE:

$67,974 - $105,435 Depending on Qualifications

JOB FUNCTION:

This is a senior-level degreed Mechanical Engineer that requires experience with Foxboro or Siemens DCIS. This highly skilled engineering position is also responsible for the performance of difficult and complex engineering assignments associated with the planning and design of a variety of projects and studies needed to support the electric power facilities. Work is under the general supervision of an administration supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduation from an accredited four (4) year college or university with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Five (5) years of experience in related engineering work. Programming and troubleshooting DCIS control systems for steam and/or combined cycle power plants required.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. Must possess and maintain a valid state of Florida driver’s license.

2. Must maintain a valid telephone number.

3. May be required to attend meetings at locations other than primary work location.

4. May be required to work overtime, or alternate hours, as necessary for the efficient operation of the department. Position may be designated as Mission Critical by Department Director.

5. May be required to pass and maintain quality for:

a. Respiratory Protection Physical

b. Pulmonary Function

c. Qualitative and Quantitative Fit Test(s)
